Cimolai Technology managed the entire process — from design and manufacturing to delivery and on-site installation — of two fully transparent glass elevators named Ascent, mounted on the outside of the One Vanderbilt façade in New York, reaching 1,210 ft (approximately 368 m) above the city.

Type: Rack-and-pinion external elevators with a highly resistant stainless-steel structure.
Structural glass: Up to 40 mm thick, equipped with an invisible heating system to eliminate condensation and ensure crystal-clear views all year round.
Performance: Capable of speeds up to 50 mph (~25 m/min) and able to withstand winds up to 100 mph (~160 km/h).
Elevation range: From 330 m (1,084 ft) to 368 m (1,210 ft), covering nearly 40 m of trackway.
