Cimolai Technology is proud to have contributed to the K20 Project on Germany’s A7 motorway in Hamburg, supporting critical operations on the Hochbrücke Elbmarsch.
With a total length of 3.84 km, the Hochbrücke Elbmarsch is the longest motorway bridge in Germany. The project scope included widening the bridge from six to eight lanes (four in each direction) to improve capacity and traffic flow on this strategic corridor.
For the steel girder placing activities, STRABAG deployed two Cimolai Technology MST 30 mobile straddle transporters, operating as key site resources for handling and positioning heavy structural elements. Thanks to strong coordination across all project partners, the works were completed 7 months ahead of schedule, and the infrastructure was officially opened to traffic.
Cimolai Technology designs and manufactures special equipment for lifting and handling applications, supporting complex infrastructure projects worldwide with tailor-made solutions.
