Semi-annual full maintenance completed on 820-ton telescopic boat hoist in San Diego
Full service and verification of the variable track-width system ensure safety and uptime
San Diego. The 820-ton telescopic boat hoist has successfully completed its scheduled semi-annual maintenance, including a full-service program and verification of the variable track-width system.
The scope covered functional checks and inspections across structural elements, hydraulic and electrical circuits, lifting components, and safety devices, alongside calibration of control systems. Special focus was placed on the span change mechanism that adjusts the hoist’s track width to accommodate different hull beams and working areas, a critical function for precise and safe handling of large vessels.
The work was carried out within the planned window to minimize downtime and keep the equipment fully operational.
Our thanks go to the Tech Sime team for their intervention and support, helping maintain high standards of reliability and safety.
