SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

Cimolai Technology S.p.A. can design, fabricate, assemble on-site, test and supply (on a turn-key basis) the following sets of equipment:

• BACK-UP SYSTEM FOR TBM ( Tunnel Boring Machines ), i.e.:
  - Systems for automatic feeding of the concrete elements forming the tunnel roofs to the positioning equipment
  - Erectors for automatic placing of the segments
  - Trolleys to transport the diggings
  - Trolleys for personnel transportation inside tunnels (engines are fitted with catalyzed mufflers and particulate filters to make them suitable for operations in tunnels)
• AUTOMATIC WAGGON OVERTURNING SYSTEMS ; these are carrying frames or platforms for the automatic overturning of waggons, used mainly at the exit of tunnels being build to discharge the contents of the waggons onto trucks or dumpers used to transport the diggings deriving from tunnel excavation
• EQUIPMENT FOR MATERIAL HANDLING IN STEELWORK PLANTS, like CARRIERS MST used to handle and transport beams, billets, blooms, metallic bars, steel sheets, i.e. all metallic products that need to be handled in steel plants via magnet-equipped spreader beams
