EQUIPMENT FOR LARGE-SIZE CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURES

Cimolai Technology S.p.A. can design, fabricate, assemble on-site, test and supply (on a turn-key basis) the following sets of equipment:

• LAUNCHING GANTRIES for building steel and/or concrete bridges (using either beams or segments); these can be:
  - Overhead Launching Gantries for beams or segments
  - Underslung Launching Gantries for beams or segments
  - Launching Gantries for in-situ casting (advancing shoring system)
• DERRICK CRANES designed for erecting steel or concrete bridges
• CANTILEVER LIFTING DEVICES, i.e. devices for lifting and positioning segments (in steel or concrete)
• PORTAL CRANES on wheels or runways, with or without overhangs, having high capacities and huge dimensions
• SHAFT CRANES, with high performances and capacities as well as huge dimensions, usually set to work in sites for the construction of dams or tunnels
• BACK-UP SYSTEM FOR TBM ( Tunnel Boring Machines ), i.e.:
  - Systems for automatic feeding of the concrete elements forming the tunnel roofs to the positioning equipment
  - Erectors for automatic placing of the segments
  - Trolleys to transport the diggings
  - Trolleys for personnel transportation inside tunnels (engines are fitted with catalyzed mufflers and particulate filters that make them suitable for operations in tunnels)
• AUTOMATIC WAGGON OVERTURNING SYSTEMS ; these are carrying frames or platforms for the automatic overturning of waggons, used mainly at the exit of tunnels being build to discharge the contents of the waggons onto trucks or dumpers used to transport the diggings deriving from tunnel excavation
